  On Neu Sierra’s long-awaited follow-up EP, the shadows still play a crucial role, but this time, night falls over Paris
  
  Since her debut single Dirty Me was released in late 2020, Neu Sierra has engulfed us in her captivating and sensual, loud world. She continues her journey on sophomore EP "PARIS", where “the vocals sound like they were born in twilight and call for intimacy and empathy”, as acclaimed Danish music blog Undertoner wrote, when she recently released the song "Save Believe Forget" as a single.
  
  Neu Sierra sings half of the four-track EP in broken French; lead single "Pour toi seul" and brand new "L’ouvert et claire", are both translations of the work of kindred spirit and renowned poet, Tove Ditlevsen.
  
  "There is so much music in Tove Ditlevsen's lyrics themselves that I have never dared to touch them for fear of ruining them. They stand so beautifully on their own that it feels unnecessary to set them to music. But then I came across them in French, which I am not fluent in at all, creating a linguistic distance, and I wanted to let the meaning of the words reflect in the music" Neu Sierra explains.
  
  On the EP's final track, Neu Sierra hands the microphone over to a purring cat before she, accompanied by Zakarias Sanderson (Sanderson & The Charabancs, Leizure), takes over on this deeply personal duet, "The Most".

  The EP also holds a wealth of French references, but the singer insists that listeners look for them on their own, in what she teasingly calls a "Parisian hotchpotch" of things that have shaped her.
  
  The recording of "PARIS" began in the City of Light, with the help of Marc Collin (Nouvelle Vague), while longtime friend and collaborator Nick Lee (Ulige Numre) completed it in Copenhagen.
